Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th in 1967) was an American actress and singer. Her career started when she was still a teenager. Her most notable performances include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is Payroll accountant as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). The couple has three brothers. The singer was in her teens who performed in clubs, sneaking away from home for the sake of performing. When she began studying acting at Wooster School at 13 years old she pursued a degree in drama at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. She was an Brookfield native born in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April 1967. Her father is a German American policeman as well as an auto salesman. Kari's children are three. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer, she would sing while slipping out to do a show. Kari at the time was thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School as well as Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher known as Uta. Kari was introduced to acting at the age of 13 years old, and received her big break in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
